Parts Repair and Exchange Services for COMPRO/SEL/Gould/Encore Computers

If you need SEL, Gould or Encore circuit boards or COMPRO/Encore computer parts repaired or upgraded, call our Repair Administration at 1-800-936-2673. COMPRO is the authorized Encore Computer (OEM) parts repair facility.

A Return Material Authorization (RMA) number is needed when returning parts. Therefore, please have the following information available to obtain an RMA number when you call:

• Customer contact name, address, and phone number of where the replacement part will be shipped
• Part number, serial number, and revision level
• A description of the problem experienced

We will determine the type of support required using the following guidelines:

• 1 = Assembly/Repair Update: Boards are updated and tested at the latest engineering revision level. Repair turnaround time is up to 30 days.
• 2 = Assembly Exchange: Replacement assemblies will be shipped within 5 days after receipt and acceptance of returned assemblies.
• 3 = Advanced Assembly Exchange: In emergency situations, an assembly will be shipped within 24 hours of your request.

We will determine the level of severity for the issue and assign a call number. (You will need to record this number for future reference.) Your call will then be forwarded to our technical staff for resolution. If you do not have a service contract, a Standard Per Call fee will apply.
